  1. Rick Spitznagel says:

It seems that Ben Spitznagel with UNCG continues to be overlooked a little as he finished the regular season (2016) tied for second in NCAA D-1 in total hits with 95 and he finished the Great Lakes College Baseball Summer League voted Player of the Year and was also the MVP in the All Star game. He was voted AABC/Rawlings 3rd team All-American as a junior and 1st team all region for 2016. He was also a JUCO All American last year for Wabash Valley CC where he accumulated a .461 batting average. Just saying
