  2. C Jonathan Denney (Yukon HS, Oklahoma): quick bat; really good power, easy plus; outstanding defensive tools; quick feet; legit plus arm; big power; BA JP Arencibia comp, also Clint Coulter; short to ball, but explodes with lower half; love his patience, call it controlled aggression; no glaring weakness to his game; average hit tool; FAVORITE; 6-2, 200 pounds

OF Ryan Boldt (Red Wing HS, Minnesota): plus speed; gap power; big-time bat speed; can really run; PG Chris Lubanski comp; don’t love his arm strength, but everybody I talked to kept bringing up how unusually accurate it is; wears out gaps; average at best power; reminds me of David Dahl, also see a little Randy Winn in his game; FAVORITE; 6-2, 185 pounds
  8. 3B/2B Cavan Biggio (St. Thomas HS, Texas): strong hit tool; average power upside, but needs to get stronger; great approach, patient and aggressive all at once; good defensive tools; average at best speed; average at best arm; smart hitter; line drive machine; born to hit; carries himself like a pro; great pitch recognition; FAVORITE; 6-1, 180 pounds

  10. C Jacob Nottingham (Redlands HS, California): above-average power upside; average hit tool; quick bat; defense needs polish; very strong; strong arm; really good athlete; decent speed; FAVORITE; 6-3, 220 pounds
  11. 3B/1B Drew Ward (Leedy HS, Oklahoma): very strong; good athlete; untapped upside; intriguing natural talent with bat; big raw power; impressive pitch tracking and recognition; really like his approach; could be a catcher long term; strong arm, but mechanics out of whack; PG comp Jim Thome; profile reminds me some of Phil Nevin; 6-4, 200 pounds

C Brian Navarreto (Arlington County Day HS, Florida): easy plus arm; good defensive tools; really like him behind the plate, great athlete; quick release; runs well for a catcher; sometimes stabs more than slides; above-average raw power is there, but still raw; Kiley McDaniel body comp: Charles Johnson; FAVORITE; 6-3, 215 pounds

  30. 1B/LHP Cody Bellinger (Hamilton HS, Arizona): plus glove; well above-average raw power, but haven’t seen much of it yet; strong hit tool; can run and throw a bit; good athlete; good pitch recognition; 85-88 FB; PG Christian Yelich comp; BA Adam LaRoche comp; FAVORITE; 6-3, 170 pounds

  43. 1B/LHP Nick Longhi (Venice HS, Florida): absolutely punishes baseballs, saw him with one of the loudest BPs I can remember; legit plus-plus bat speed; ball explodes off his bat; younger than classmates; plus raw power; FAVORITE; might be able to hang in LF; natural born hitter; big power; not much arm; slow; 85-90 FB; plus CB; 6-2, 210 pounds
