NORFOLK, VA- Old Dominion senior shortstop Chris Buss (Rosemount, MN.) has been named CAA Player of the Week. Buss hit .563 (9-16) with three homers, six runs scored and 12 RBI in the Monarchs three-game sweep at Hofstra.

Buss slammed two grand slam homers with nine RBI in the Monarchs 14-10 win last Friday at Hofstra.

Buss completed the season with a .305 batting average with six homers and 43 RBI. He also hit 22 doubles which ranks in the top five in the CAA, and 64 base hits also led the team.
