Just wanted to follow up on the McGee as a pitcher thought mentioned at the end of my previous comment. Recently read that he has been hitting as high as 91 out of the bullpen, but coaches think there might be a few ticks more coming as he adjusts to life as a reliever. Now I'm more curious than ever as to where I first heard he was throwing 95...

You're right, I totally missed on McGee here. Dumb mistake on my part, doubly so considering my long-standing love of quality two-way college players. In my admittedly lame defense, I did write a bit about McGee about a week ago:

"Mike McGee currently has an OPS approaching 1.100 and an ERA (through 7.2 IP) at 0.00. His mature beyond his years approach at the plate make him a better hitting prospect in my mind, but he could get docked by some scouts as a tweener outfielder without a singular standout tool. I get all that, but still believe that he’s the kind of player who has the right blend of talent and temperament to succeed as a minor leaguer."

I've also heard reports that he's hit 95 out of the bullpen this year, but haven't been able to get any radar gun numbers confirmed. If he's really hitting the mid-90s with the heater, then I may be off in thinking he's a better prospect at the plate than on the mound. Either way, thanks for pointing out his omission from the list. He definitely deserves a spot on there somewhere.

How could you not have mentioned Mike McGee on this list, after hitting .379/.494/.768 with 19 homers? He certainly has more upside than many listed here.
